Great News From The Shelter
Our new
kennels are
nearing completion. Stainless doors soon will be hung and the
brick work looks great. I can't wait to see the dogs in these
sparkling new digs. There are 40 individual
kennels, where
only 23 were before. There is an airy new quarantine area and
10
medical stalls included in this number. We still need to
epoxy
the floors and walls, to insure cleaner conditions for the
dogs.
We need Donations to cover this, before we can finish. The
materials will run $15,000 and we gratefully accept any amount you can
share with us, to give these dogs a healthy and clean room to enjoy
while here. The dropped ceiling, and rearranged duct work,
really
improved the space. Two new Bathing Stations will soon be
added
thanks to the larger room. Please help the dogs by DONATING
TO
THE EPOXY PROJECT.
Come on down,
and visit
the animals and check out all the improvements. Our old barn
has
been rebuilt and freshly painted. Thanks to the Columbia Heights
Assembly of God Church. The youth cleaned
the grounds and did such a great job of making it look neat and
clean. Our Dogs and Cats are always happy when people come
down. They are out walking on leashes or running in the open
air
cattery, just waiting to see you. One of them just might be
your
next best Friend.
Thanks,
Rick Johnson

Some
of us need to find a temporary vacation home in a couple of weeks.

And you'll be our hero.
